EOA Children’s Services
The teacher is responsible for providing responsive comprehensive care to infants and toddlers in a center-based setting. Will work as a team member with a second teacher. Will work with each family to develop and monitor the child’s progress. Will act as a family educator in all service areas of Early Head Start. Will play an active role in transition into the Early Head Start classroom and from Early Head Start to Head Start.
Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) or comparable credential; if only High school diploma or GED, must be willing to obtain an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential within one year of the date of hire. EOA will enroll employees in the self-paced 6-month CDA program through Teachstone and accrue the cost of the course.
