Preschool Development Grant (PDG) Incentive Initiative
Fall 2026
Arkansas Early Childhood Association (AECA) in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Education Office of Early Childhood (OEC) is offering this short-term incentive program with time-limited Preschool Development Grant (PDG) funds.
You must choose one incentive only from the following three catergories. These are one-time payments. Funding is limited and available only until funds are exhausted.
Retention Incentive: $300-$1,000
- Current employees in licensed programs and FCC educators operating licensed homes
- Incentive based on length of employment/operation
- Current TEACH scholars and those receiving TEACH Retention Incentives are not eligible
Continuing Education Incentive: $300-$525
- For education milestones completed 7/1/25-6/30/26
- All related to CDA and ECE degree completion
- TEACH graduates are not eligible
Longevity Recognition Incentive: $300-$500
- For active Arkansas PDR members with recent training
- Based on years of membership in AR ECE PD system
Application Process

2. Complete the PDG Incentive Initiative Application form here or scan the QR code. The form and QR code will not be accessible until 8am on August 10, 2026. Applications will be accepted starting then, and will remain open until PDG funding is exhausted. Please use the time before then to familiarize yourself with the Program Guidance and download the Webinar PowerPoint slides for more information.
