T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood ® Arkansas Program

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY

For the 3-4 Pre-K Endorsement, applicants must hold a valid Arkansas K-6 Teaching License and must meet all other requirements for T.E.A.C.H. eligibility.

For the Pre-K Teacher Academy, applicants should read through the Arkansas Department of Education website and make sure they meet the requirements plus all other requirements for the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship.

1. Download and complete all pages of the application packet.  There are pages for the applicant to complete and pages for the administrator/principal to complete.

2. Applicants should verify with their selected college that the Endorsement or Academy program will be offered at the time they select.

3. Attach a copy of recent income documentation:

a) Recent (within last 30 days) paycheck stub OR

b) Recent (within last 30 days) statement (within last 30 days) from the director/owner stating the applicant’s hourly wage and the number of hours worked per week.  Statement must be on center letterhead and dated/signed by the director or owner.

4. Make sure all forms are signed and dated where indicated.

5. Mail application forms and income documentation to the state T.E.A.C.H. office:

6. You will be notified if further information is needed.

7. Once approved for the scholarship, you will be sent an email from your assigned T.E.A.C.H. counselor to schedule a welcome call.  You will then receive further instructions.
