π We know that many of us have had the unfortunate opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors that just donβt understand what we do in early childhood education.
π’ AECA is committed to educating our fellow Arkansans on the importance of ECE to children, families, and our communities. We believe there are no better spokespersons than our members.
π We are continuing our advocacy efforts by sharing stories of inspiring educators all across the state. Todayβs story is about Tulita Grant. Here is the story that was submitted on our website to share with you all:
Tulita Grant is the Special Education for the Discovery Children’s Center 0-2 program in Monticello, Arkansas. Tulita has been with the center for 15 years. Tuilta has a lot of love for the children that she serves, she makes sure the children have everything they need because she doesn’t like to see a child go without. She has made lots of home visits during the pandemic to make sure that children and families had everything they need. Tulita has a big heart and is always willing to help others when help is needed. Tulita is a great asset to the center and doesn’t realize what she does for others and the children and how it has impacted so many lives and for that, we are very proud of her. “Keep up the great work Tulita”
