We hope that you had fun creating Valentines with your little ones and we are excited to share them at Kids Count Day at the Capitol tomorrow, February 14!
If you missed the opportunity to send us Valentines, you can still participate via social media!
️❤️️ Ideas for Social Media ️❤️️
❤️️️ Photograph children creating and/or displaying Valentines.
❤️️ Create a video Valentine message from the children as they hold their Valentine hearts.
️❤️️ Create a photo or video of children with their families displaying their Valentine Hearts, perhaps with a personal message.
❤️️️ You might also consider e-mailing photos to communications@arkansasearlychildhood.org (please make sure you have family permission before sharing photos of children)
❤️️ Use these tags in your posts: #eceworkforce #arlegvalentines #arleg #ARKidsCount
We have also been invited to use #investinkids as this hashtag is in part of the National “Have a Heart” campaign hosted by Save the Children US. Our heart projects are similar; however, Save the Childrens’ Have a Heart campaign will reach our National leaders in Washington, D.C. To learn more about the Have a Heart campaign, visit: https://savethechildrenactionnetwork.org/haveaheart/
Please let us know if you have any questions. Let your hearts be heard at Kids Count Day at the Capitol!
You can find all the resources and links you need, including sample emails to send to our leaders, on the Public Policy page on our website:
Thank YOU for standing up for childcare! If you need any help writing your email or finding your legislators, do not hesitate to reach out to communications@arkansasearlychildhood.org
