It’s National Apprenticeship Week and we want to celebrate! 
The T.E.A.C.H. Arkansas Apprenticeship program is a new on-the-job training program offered to eligible scholars seeking their associate degree in early childhood education. This two-year experience will bring a new level of support to T.E.A.C.H. scholars which will include skill-building and one-on-one mentoring opportunities under a seasoned classroom expert. The apprenticeship is a chance to receive on-the-job training tied to evidence-based competency standards at the same time scholars are earning their degree.
Sarah Moore said the apprenticeship program provided ‘valuable feedback from a seasoned early childhood professional and new ways to enhance my professional development’.
