Senate Budget Resolution (H. Con. Res. 14) proposes significant cuts that would set the stage to cut billions of dollars in essential programs that support the health, nutrition and economic security of the children and families we serve here in Arkansas, as well as our many of our own families.
THESE CUTS THREATEN:
🚨 Medicaid cuts will cause more Arkansas children to lose critical healthcare coverage, resulting in missed check-ups, screenings and EIDT services.
🚨 SNAP cuts will leave more Arkansas families struggling to feed their children, making it harder for children to grow strong and healthy brains and bodies.
🚨 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cuts would deprive families access to affordable child care, leaving many babies without early learning experiences that set the foundation for the rest of their lives and making it that much harder for parents in the workforce.
