AECA invites you to join us in celebrating two of our T.E.A.C.H. graduates – Sondra Brown and Kayla Flowers 🥳️
Sondra graduated in the spring of 2022 with her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. She is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in ECE at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.
Sondra had wonderful things to say about her T.E.A.C.H. experience:
“My experience thus far has been great! Being a mother, and working full-time can make going back to school feel almost impossible at times. I have been so blessed and thankful for this opportunity. The staff at T.E.A.C.H. and UACCB have been kind, helpful, so supportive and have gone out of their way to make things less stressful. I was terrified in the beginning and they put my mind at ease so many times.”
Kayla graduated in the fall of 2022 with her associate’s degree from Arkansas Tech University. Kayla shared that she now feels more empowered in teaching her Pre-K classroom because of the support from T.E.A.C.H.
