It’s National Apprenticeship Week and we want to celebrate!
The T.E.A.C.H. Arkansas Apprenticeship program is a new on-the-job training program offered to eligible scholars seeking their associate degree in early childhood education. This two-year experience will bring a new level of support to T.E.A.C.H. scholars which will include skill-building and one-on-one mentoring opportunities under a seasoned classroom expert. The apprenticeship is a chance to receive on-the-job training tied to evidence-based competency standards at the same time scholars are earning their degree.
Katie Baker said, “The learning opportunities have been wonderful and the friendships made are irreplaceable. My mentor is truly one of a kind and has not only guided me professionally but been there for me personally as well. I am truly grateful to be a part of this program!”
