AECA’s T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Counselor Specialist, Kawai Mullen, teamed up with Kaydra Ayers from Pediatrics Plus (Pediatrics Plus Recruitment and Community Engagement Coordinator) and were able to share about the T.E.A.C.H scholarship and Step Up to Wages in person with all of their preschool programs.
They also did a Zoom session with Alma/Van Buren and presented at programs in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Conway, Alma, Van Buren, and Arkadelphia.
Kawai was able to meet several potential scholars, such as lead teachers, assistant teachers, as well as directors interested in pursuing their further education. And she even got to meet face-to-face with a few of the current scholars!
