We are excited to kick off 2022 with a message from our new president, Shaneil ‘PJ’ Yarbrough!

Hello, I’m Shaneil ‘PJ’ Yarborough, the incoming president of Arkansas Early Childhood Association. I will assume this role on January 1, 2022. I’m looking forward to working with our staff, board directors and YOU – our membership. Get ready! Our campaign for this coming year will be beautiful – YOU. I think that we have a state full of beautiful early childhood professionals, beautiful children, beautiful families, and beautiful communities. I’m hoping that you’ll join us on this journey as we look at four key concepts in the year. All of them start with ‘E’. The first one will be empathy, then we’ll discuss equity. Certainly, the next two are something that we can do every day in our classrooms. We can have effective experiences and empower everyone. I hope you will be on the lookout for all the information that’s coming soon. We’re gonna have a beautiful year! See you soon.
