On behalf of our profession, Arkansas children and families and our AECA members, the Arkansas Early Childhood Association Public Policy Committee presented the 2024-2025 Policy Agenda recommendations to the Arkansas Early Childhood Association Board of Directors. We are delighted to share that the policy recommendations were unanimously approved.

These recommendations reflect the values which we share as an organization, as a profession, as a community. The recommendations are a call for inclusiveness in this work that we do realizing that we as a profession can’t stand alone in our efforts to advance early learning in Arkansas. When successful, this three-pronged approach will provide new support for our entire sector including business partners. We heard you and we have been heard.

We will begin work immediately to focus on these outlined priorities to build capacity and support for this profession which we value. This has been a good day!

Please email communications@arkansasearlychildhood.org for more information or visit our website to see the kind of work we do. We would love for you to join us in advocating for early childhood across Arkansas.

Sincerely,

Zephonia Avant
AECA Public Policy Committee Chair
