Hello friends and happy September. As we look ahead to our conference next month, I want to take a moment to thank our members and partners for your commitment to the Arkansas Early Childhood Association and to the children and families that we serve.
Membership in AECA is much more than belonging to an organization. It’s an investment in a professional community that supports you at both the local affiliate level and across the state. Through your local affiliate, you have opportunities to build relationships, share ideas, develop leadership skills, and connect with early childhood professionals right in your own community. At the state level, AECA brings us together to learn, advocate, and elevate our profession through professional development, networking, and statewide initiatives.
The true strength of AECA comes from our members. When educators, administrators, advocates, and community partners unite, our voices become stronger. Together, we can advocate for policies, resources, and investments that support the early childhood workforce and improve outcomes for Arkansas’s youngest learners.
As we prepare for our 64th annual conference, I encourage you to reflect on the power of our collective voice. The conference is an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge and inspiration, but also to come together as one unified organization dedicated to advancing early childhood education across the state. If you’re not a member yet, now’s the time. If you are a member, I want to encourage you to invite a colleague to join AECA. Every new member strengthens our local affiliates and our statewide association. The more at the table, the greater the impact we can have on the future of early childhood education.
Thank you for the work that you do every day, for your dedication to AECA, to your commitment to young children and families. I look forward to seeing many of you in October as we learn, connect, and continue to build stronger together. Until then, remember our membership is our strength and our united voice is our power.
Join us now to lift our voices together. And as always, I’m cheering you on.
